Interra Announces Support for AC-4, Dolby's Newest Audio Technology :
- Interra Systems, Inc., a leading global provider of software and services to the digital media industry, announced today that it will support Dolby® AC-4, a new audio format for efficiently distributing the future generation of rich media content, in their products, Vega - Audio/Video analyzers, Baton - Enterprise-class automated QC, and Orion - real-time content monitoring solutions. Interra will be showcasing support of Dolby AC-4 in Vega HEVC audio/video analyzer at The National Association of Broadcasters show (NAB) at booth SU7105 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, April 13-16, 2015.

- High Efficiency Video Codec (HEVC/H.265), promising delivery of highest quality video at optimized bandwidth, has spearheaded the development of new video compression and delivery solutions. Dolby AC-4 solves several of the audio issues that the industry faces today, including intelligent loudness and improved bandwidth efficiency.
- Interra's Vega HEVC is the most in-depth and widely adopted analyzer for HEVC video today. Vega HEVC offers complete parsing and decoding of HEVC video including frame by frame navigation, analytical graphs, powerful reporting, and utilities for buffer analysis. As a powerful debug platform, Vega HEVC enables faster time-to-market for reliable and standards-compliant HEVC solutions.
- The new Baton+ product release adds workflow QC capabilities and data analysis. It can aid in decision-making and offers the potential to perform quality control on the workflow itself, analyzing for example only the changes between files of the same origin instead of reviewing the derivative file(s) from scratch. Baton+ seamlessly integrates with multiple Baton systems for managing, analyzing and reporting Baton's long-term QC data.
- Interra Systems will show its Vega product suite including Vega HEVC, Vega H264, Vega VP9, the Vega Transport Stream Analyzer and AVSync. The new version includes several powerful new features. It does video quality checks for HEVC and 4K content and video comparison between streams compressed using different standards such as H.264 and HEVC. It also adds enhancements in the YUV quality viewer, Dolby AC-4 audio support and MPEG-Dash support.
- The Vega product suite allows users to gauge the compression efficiency of encoders as well as pinpoint any errors they may produce when encoding.
- Orion is Interra's advanced integrated monitoring platform. It performs all critical monitoring functions on up to hundreds of services simultaneously from a single platform.
